ABOUT ME

I’m a narrative-driven communications professional and qualitative researcher with a deep commitment to amplifying marginalized voices. I help mission-driven organizations understand people’s lived experiences through rigorous research and translate those insights into clear, compelling stories that drive connection and impact.

After several years working as a research analyst, I expanded my work into creative storytelling—launching the podcast Queer Soul Seeker and developing a memoir that explores identity, healing, and belonging. This creative work has deepened my narrative strategy work, strengthening my ability to craft stories that bring data and research to life with clarity and emotional resonance.

I hold a Ph.D. in Communication Studies and specialize in qualitative methods including interviews, focus groups, and media analysis. My research has been published in leading journals and cited more than 500 times. I also continue to collaborate with organizations working on LGBTQ+ rights and other social justice issues. For the past four years, I’ve also partnered with GLAAD on its annual Social Media Safety Index, evaluating leading social media companies’ public commitments to protecting LGBTQ+ privacy, safety, and expression online.

If you’re looking for research, storytelling, or communications support grounded in empathy, rigor, and imagination, I’d love to connect.
